The G.I. Go Fund
Where Veterans Go Forward
Awareness and Outreach
The GI Go Fund is committed to raising awareness among veterans regarding what
they are entitled to, whether its informing them about opportunities in employment
or education, the benefits they have earned, or any of the latest developments in
the veteran community. Our organization is equally committed to informing members
of the civilian population, be it employers, educators, or the community as a whole,
about the struggles veterans face upon their return and what they can do to help.

The Transition Times Magazine
The G.I. Go Fund Transition Times is a free quarterly publication distributed to
thousands of veterans and their families throughout the region discussing the
pressing issues facing veterans today. From stories highlighting veterans using
their GI Bill benefits to go to school to features tackling employment and
homelessness issues, the Transition Times offers its readers a real glimpse in what
veterans are currently struggling with as they return home.

Veterans Now Radio
“Veterans Now” is a weekly radio program hosted by members of The GI Go Fund
to promote the rights and needs of veterans returning home from Iraq and
Afghanistan.  The program spotlights the important issues and concerns of
veterans, alerting its followers about veteran-related news, and advocating for
legislation that will improve the lives of our former military personnel. To listen to our
broadcast, tune in every Saturday at 9:30 AM on 89.5 FM WSOU, or listen to our
podcasts at www.veteransnow.org

Combat2Campus
Our organization is committed to helping any veteran looking to use his or her GI Bill
benefits to attend college. To that effort, we have launched Combat2Campus, a
comprehensive website that informs veterans with everything they need to know
about going to school. From educating them on what they are eligible for to
informing them about the best veteran friendly schools and what they have to offer,
veterans who visit the site will be given the knowledge to make the best decision
about going to college. If you would like to know more about using your benefits to
go to college, please visit
