The G.I. Go Veterans Transition Center
of Newark

The G.I. Go Fund has opened its Transition Center in
Newark to help veterans in the area with their everyday
struggles, assisting our nation’s heroes with whatever they
need to live their lives with honor. The Center has a focus
on assisting veterans of Operations Iraqi Freedom and
Enduring Freedom, while serving all veterans of previous
generations.
The Center, located in the heart of Newark in City Hall, was
made possible by generously donated office space by the
Newark to help veterans in the area with their everyday
struggles, assisting our nation’s heroes with whatever they
need to live their lives with honor. The Center has a focus
on assisting veterans of Operations Iraqi Freedom and

which couples the resources and expertise of a nonprofit organization and a city government. The Center
received unanimous support by the Municipal Council and reflects Mayor Cory Booker's and Newark's
commitment to our nation's most honorable Americans.
The G.I. Go Veterans Transition Center of Newark works closely with the Department of Veterans Affairs
and the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs to ensure that our veterans recieve the
best support possible.
